My incredibly talented friend - Aurora James - founder of the sustainable Brother Vellies brand of handmade African footwear- and founder of the 15 Percent Pledge, has always inspired me with her Activism. I've supported her effort championing meaningful causes for years, and jumped at the opportunity to partner with her and co-host Sarah Sophie Flicker, one of the national organizers of the Women’s March, for a intimate and exclusive Fundraiser at the Webster's Boutique in Soho. 

The evening unveiled a collection of commissioned pieces from featured designers including Brandon Maxwell, Brother Vellies, Batsheva, Chromat, Clare Vivier, Edie Parker, Eva Fehren, Gypsy Sport, Heron Preston, La Ligne, Lingua Franca, Mara Hoffman, Pyer Moss, Ryan Roche, Tome, and Ulla Johnson.  Proceeds from the evening benefited the Women’s March and Planned Parenthood.
